Athlete Psychographics
The numbers above indicate the average runner enjoys a very high level of personal success, due to "type-A personalities" and a commitment to excel. Long distance athletes take that commitment to another, higher level. They train continuously for months to succeed in their varied goals of finishing, running the race in a personal best time, and / or earning an age-group award.
Runners' personal and work lives reflect this same drive to succeed. Endurance athletes often work in professional careers such as doctors, lawyers and executives. Many are business owners, political leaders or decision-makers in their company. The endurance athlete's lifestyle requires a strong commitment to training, including a keen interest and
proactive approach to maintaining good health.

All Partners benefit from widespread, consistent and positive association with our highly visible, professionally staged events.
Event Title Partner
With this comprehensive package, your company or brand is married to our individual event title, providing the biggest bang for the buck. All references to your event will include your name: race logo, press releases, brochures, print ads, posters, Web site, e-mail blasts, stickers, signage, mile markers, runner numbers, awards, athlete t-shirts, volunteer t-shirts. Your company's representative will be invited to present awards to the overall winners. Event Title Partners also enjoy complimentary entries, category exclusivity, and added value as a Gold Starfish Partner for each of our other events.
Gold Starfish Season Partners
This level of support offers significant benefits, virtually every exposure opportunity available throughout each event for the season. The primary difference between Title Partners and Starfish Partners is the inclusion of the Title Partner's name or brand into a particular event name. Each Gold Starfish Partner will also be invited to present a portion of the age group awards during each event.
Florida 52.4 Mile Endurathon Title Partner
In addition to offering overall, age-group and finisher awards after each race, we will also track finishing times to determine Florida 52.4 Mile Endurathon Champions. To accumulate 52.4 miles, athletes can complete all four of our 13.1 mile Halfathons, or any two of our Halfathons and our full 26.2 mile Clearwater Marathon. This will reward consistency during the course of our season.
Endurathon Title Partner enjoys exposure during each event, second only to each event's title sponsor. In addition, with this comprehensive package, your company or brand is married to our series title, providing this season's biggest bang for the buck. All references to this series will include your name: series logo, press releases, brochures, print ads, posters, Web site, e-mail blasts, stickers, signage, series awards, athlete t-shirts, volunteer t-shirts. Your company's representative will be invited to present custom awards, incorporating your logo to the overall series winners.
Clearwater Running & Fitness Festival Title Partner
With four events staged offering opportunities for athletes of varying ability, The Clearwater Running & Fitness Festival provides a significant option for a title partner to capitalize on a concentrated weekend of fitness events. Total participation will likely approach 3,000+ athletes.
The weekend is perfectly timed to attract competitive athletes seeking to get their year off on a positive note, as well as to provide an early goal, our inaugural fitness walk, for those who made New Year Resolutions to exercise.
Along with Gold Starfish Pertner status during ALL our weekends, Festival Title Partner will also be recognized as the weekend's umbrella sponsor in all advertising, promotion, and internally-generated exposure opportunities.
In-Kind Partners
Provide goods and services for official use and/or consumption by race staff and its athletes. In-Kind Partners enjoy many of the exposure benefits listed above, depending on their specific exposure goals and their contributions. Our needs include apparel, timing, communications, transportation, water, food, athletic products, etc.
Hospitality Partners
Airlines, Car Rental Companies, Restaurants, and Resorts can participate by offering discounted rates for our visiting athletes. Hospitality partners are promoted through our Web sites, e-mail blasts, and printed materials, depending on each partner's level of participation.

Weekend Profiles: Halloween Halfathon, Holiday Halfathon, Beach Halfathon
These three half marathons, by design, are the only races we've scheduled for each weekend. Research indicates our athletes want to complete their race, celebrate their achievements, and continue with their physical recovery. They are straightforward, well-organized races, almost low-key in nature, yet still providing our partners with excellent exposure opportunities.
Weekend Profile: The Clearwater Running & Fitness Festival
Three competitive races, the Clearwater 5-Miler, the 13.1 mile Clearwater Halfathon, and the 26.2 mile Clearwater Marathon, along with the non-competitive 5K Fitness Walk. All perfectly timed to appeal to those who want to enjoy the benefits of a healthier, active lifestyle.
Many people make physical fitness one of their New Year Resolutions – we provide an event they can target as an early goal, providing a fantastic incentive for the first three weeks of the year. When they reach their goal of walking more than three miles with us, and be there to witness other people completing a marathon, half marathon or a 5-miler, perhaps they will be inspired to continue with their long-term goal of enjoying a healthier, active lifestyle.
